I've never had an allergic reaction (and let it stay that way) to anything: I can eat anything I want and I'm sure - but not willing to try, to be honest - that I could snort pollen without any problems. Except the sun. I'm not even sure if sun allergy is a real allergic reaction, but it certainly causes - in combination with salty water, sweat and sunscreen - itchy rashes on my skin. I also sneeze when I walk into bright light. It's quite ironic, isn't it? That the sun, which we use as an allegory for hope, love and peace, makes me itch. "The ray of hope shone through" or "she is my sunshine", we say.
My sister is the person I would trust with my life (even if I weren't suicidal*). We have a special bond and - although I don't tell her often enough - I love her with all my heart. But, ironically, she is also someone who makes me scream, forget all the emotion management techniques and just knows how to get on my nerves.
In every sense of the word, I'd say my sister is my sunshine: while she makes my life a hundred percent better, she can also ruin most of my days, making my brain explode with rage at every slightest annoyance.
That's the thing about love: it causes allergic reactions.
*That's a joke!
